Nudge privacy policy

Nudge is a Telegram bot made by Hall House Labs in North Carolina, USA. Contact: german@hallhouselabs.com.

What we collect

• Your Telegram chat ID and first name (provided by Telegram), so we can send you messages.
• Your time zone, which you tell us, so reminders arrive at the right local time.
• The reminders you send: the text, when it is due, and whether it repeats.
• Delivery history: which nudges were sent and whether you tapped Done or snoozed them, to build your Sunday recap.
• Plus license key, if you activate Plus, to re-check that your subscription is still active. We delete your /activate message from the chat when possible.

We do not collect your phone number, contacts, location, or anything outside this chat.

How we use it

Only to run the bot: understanding your messages, sending your nudges and recap, and checking Plus. Message text is processed by a rule-based parser on our server; it is not sent to any AI service or third party for analysis. We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it for profiling.

Who else handles data

• Telegram carries every message. Telegram's own privacy policy applies. Bot chats are not end-to-end encrypted.
• Supabase hosts our database and servers (United States region unless stated otherwise).
• Gumroad handles Plus payments and license keys; we never see your card details. Only your license key is sent to Gumroad to check it.

How long we keep it

Reminders and delivery history are kept while you use Nudge; finished or cancelled reminders and delivery history are deleted automatically after 90 days. Send /delete confirm to the bot at any time to erase everything we hold about you immediately. If you block the bot, your pending reminders pause and we keep nothing beyond the above.

Security

Data lives in a private database that is not reachable from the public API; access is limited to the bot's servers. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not use Nudge to store passwords, card numbers or other highly sensitive information.

Children

Nudge is not directed to children under 13.
